Job Description :

Empirical Planners seeks board-certified physicians in the fields of Phyisatry, Internal Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Critical Care Medicine, Pediatrics, or Family Medicine with strong analytical and writing skills to prepare medical timelines and become trained as Certified Life Care Planners. This is a unique opportunity for a practicing physician to secure steady and interesting remote independent contractor work with a pathway towards professional development in the field of Life Care Planning.

Responsibilities

Review medical records, produce written medical timelines, conduct background research, engage in training program to become a Certified Life Care Planner.

Qualifications

Board-Certified and actively practicing physician with some degree of schedule flexibility. Proficient writing skills. Comfort with public speaking and confidence with medical-legal interactions (i.e., eventual court testimony and attorney conferences). Excellent teamwork and collaborative skills with diverse multi-disciplinary professionals. Desire to teach Gap Year Students. Flexibility to build this work into an already existing clinical/academic practice.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: From $100.00 per hour
