The Violence Intervention and Prevention Department is seeking a full-time Prevention Education Specialist. This position will provide domestic violence and sexual assault programming to schools and community groups. This position will also provide outreach in Dauphin and Perry Counties, promoting programs and other department services. Must be available to work occasional evening and weekend hours. Applicants must demonstrate the ability to work independently, utilize sound judgment, respond to crisis situations in a professional manner, and balance numerous priorities and tasks at one time. Must have exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Prior experience in public speaking is a plus. Bachelor’s degree in human services or related field and prior related work experience required. Must have a valid driver’s license, reliable personal vehicle, proof of insurance, FBI, criminal, and child abuse clearances.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $34,000.00 per year
