Product Manager

ABICOR Binzel USA, Inc. is seeking a Product Manager. Technology-driven firm’s N. American headquarters in Frederick, MD, has an immediate opening for a Product Manager. The Product Manager will be responsible for developing product plans for ABICOR Binzel USA; supporting the execution of new product development, and new product introductions, and prioritizing projects and opportunities utilizing Stage-Gate methodology. The candidate will be the center of collaboration between all the departments and liaise with stakeholders on key product initiative decisions. This position is in Frederick, Maryland and candidates must be able to interview and commute to area as this position in onsite!

  • Create a go-to-market strategy to expand existing and develop new products
  • Identify early adopters as partners to work with who can help influence the modernization of existing and the development of new or existing product lines
  • Capable of assisting in defining partnership agreements or joint projects/collaboration efforts
  • Ability to create a strong partnership with sales in driving a regional sales pipeline focused on accelerating revenue, adoption, and market penetration
  • Understanding the Voice of the Customer and customer’s values and which can link to strategic market penetration and expansion plans
  • Ability to create and execute professional presentations for our internal and external customers
  • Be a positive influencer, have high energy and passion for project execution, product development, collaboration, and can adapt to the needs of others and inspire others to get work done without direct authority.

Position Requirements:

  • An Associates Degree in Engineering, Business or Marketing, or commensurate experience.
  • Experience in Product Management & Development, Business Development, Business Analytics, marketing, and sales.
  • Experience in Microsoft Suite of Products including Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Teams.
  • Superior interpersonal skills along with project coordination experience.
  • Open to travel up to 30% - customers' visit, trade shows & conferences, etc.
  • Candidates must already have a work authorization that would allow them to work for ABICOR Binzel in the USA.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Engineering, Business or Marketing; or a degree along with commensurate experience.
  • Experience in the welding, automotive, heavy industry and ship-building industry.
  • Experience in Microsoft Suite of Products including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams and Project.
  • Experience in Project Management, Stage-Gate or Data-driven toll-gate Development Methodologies.
  • Can interpret CAD (2D & 3D) drawings, and GD&T concepts
  • Open to travel up to 30% - customers' visit, trade shows & conferences, etc.
