As a Project Coordinator Intern at Interstates, you'll work closely with our technical experts to keep projects on track and ensure we deliver excellent work to clients, all while taking on some of the toughest challenges in the industry.

This role is focused on leading project success with our Design Services team as well as internal initiatives within the organization.

• Assist the project leadership in managerial and leadership functions on the project
• Run project control systems for the benefit of the project team
• Schedule creation and updating/communicating
• Coordination of resources between teams
• RFI's, submittals, meeting minutes, and other project communication
• Act as a project analyst; assess project controls information and assist leadership in problem solving and alternate methods to achieve project success
• Provide estimating support for analysis and change orders
• Attend client meetings onsite and collaborate with other project teams
• Prepare information for, and participate in, monthly project reviews
• Assist in procurement and expediting of materials and subcontracts
• Promote the Interstates safety culture daily

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Able to track and organize projects and prioritize work
• Open to continuously adjusting project systems to plan and deliver projects successfully
• Strong team building, interpersonal/verbal/written communication skills
• Comfortable speaking in front of clients, peers, and managers

Education: Pursuing a Bachelor's or associate's degree in business, project management, Industrial Technology, Construction Management, and multiple engineering options (Ex. Mechanical, Electrical, Construction etc.)

Travel: This position will report to our Sioux Center, IA office.
