PROTESTANT TEACHER/RELIGIOUS EDUCATION COORDINATOR

• Position is Contingent upon Contract Award

PART-TIME

Location: Dugway Proving Ground, Utah

TASKS -CATHOLIC RELIGIOUS EDUCATION COORDINATOR

• Shall attend planning and coordination meetings and provide necessary input for services.

• Shall regard personal information on all applicants, volunteers, and participants as confidential.

• Shall present a neat, well-groomed appearance appropriate for religious worship services and other activities.

• Shall conduct weekly service one time per week in coordination with DPG COR for religious services.

• Shall work on Sundays and the time will be coordinated with the COR.

• Shall include a homily and alter call.

• Shall prepare subjects for and perform baptisms, as necessary.

• Shall record baptisms and record baptisms with the consent of the subject.

• Shall provide Pastoral Care and Counseling.

• Shall provide any Specific Counseling, Relationship Counseling and/or triage for referral to Garrison Family Life Chaplain or other referral agencies.

• Shall provide Matrimony and Pre-Matrimonial Counseling.

• Shall provide Marriage Preparation Counseling with corresponding documentation.

• Shall provide Annulment counseling.

• Shall provide Anointing of the Sick, Funerals, and Burials.

• Shall anoint the sick and preside over and perform burial and funeral rites.

• Shall conduct battlefield circulations with the COR to check on the health and welfare of the Dugway community.

• After Hours: Shall be available for after-hours phone calls or e-mails to provide counseling on an as needed basis.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Shall provide a resume indicting that the Pastor is an ordained Pastor and has experience ministering in the church. The documentation should include any credentials and years of experience.

HOURS/PERFORMANCE-PART-TIME

• Must be present at the Chapel from 12:45am – 2:00pm every Sunday.

• Shall be on post one day a week for 8-10 hours and will be available for after hours as needed.
