TMGL is a small business, SBA 8a Certified. We are looking for a Public Affairs Media Relations Manager for one of our contracts. The work is on customer site at Army Base, Fort Belvoir in the Springfield Virginia area. The contract will be in place for a minimum of 5 years. Below are the position requirements and qualifications for this position.

Public Affairs Media Relations Manager: The Media Relations Manager will be working with a team of Public Affairs Specialists on a U.S. Army contract. This position is responsible for maintaining a full-service media relations capability to promote Army activities, programs, and messaging and to provide media relations services in response to media requests, including COR visibility on status of projects and taskings. Media relations services should be provided IAW Army regulations, industry best practices, and the Museum's mission and public affairs guidance. This position will provide and maintain media distribution lists and media clip services. The Media Relations Manager will track tasks and provide current status of actions/tasks.

Individual qualifications for this Media Relations Manager are:

• A minimum of five (5) years demonstrated professional communications/marketing/public relations experience, with at least one (1) year continuous experience within the labor category within the past three (3) years.
• A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in a communications-related discipline.
• Routine work experience guided by AR 360-1 and Associated Press (AP) Styles.
• Work experience for an organization with a national profile in a Top 10 media market and/or experience with national media preferred.
• Professional communications/marketing/public relations certifications preferred.
• Professional experience working with the military, military public affairs, U.S. Army preferred.
• Work or volunteer experience with an art, culture, museum, and/or visitor-focused mission preferred.
• OPSEC experience and training preferred.
