In this role, the Public Relations Intern will have the opportunity to engage across all of channel teams, inclusive of national and local consumer media, corporate and trade media, issues management, product awards and creator engagement. More specifically, the role would involve media monitoring, trend and issues research, drafting written materials for press outreach, supporting product management and mailer fulfillment. The ideal candidate is a strong writer, highly organized, collaborative and not intimated to ask questions and think creatively. It is preferred that the candidate has an educational background in public relations, marketing and/or social media. The objective of this role is to fully immerse the employee in the ALDI brand while learning all the different ways PR campaigns come to life through various tactics and with different audiences.

Position Type: Full-Time
Hours: 40 hours per week / 12-week program
Wage: $20.00 per hour + eligibility for overtime

Education and Experience:

  In current pursuit of an Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.

Physical Requirements:

  Work is performed in an office environment where a computer, telephone and other office equipment are used as needed to perform duties.
• Regularly required to sit, reach, grasp, stand and move from one area to another.
• Constantly and repeatedly use keyboard/mouse.
• Occasionally required to push, pull, bend, lift and move up to 25 lbs.
