Our nationally recognized personal injury firm is seeking to hire a full-time experienced legal assistant to join our growing and exciting team of professionals.

Our applicant must be a professional with high energy, a strong work ethic, pride in an excellent work product, and with prior law firm experience, preferably in the area of personal injury. The applicant must be able to provide transcription support with a dictation machine, answer phones, set up depositions and other tasks for two attorneys in our catastrophic personal injury and medical malpractice law firm. This position involves a high-volume workload in an exciting and fast-paced environment. Energy is essential.

Requirements:

The Applicant must be able to handle and coordinate many responsibilities, meet deadlines, and communicate professionally with a wide range of professionals, including lawyers, doctors, experts, judges, court staff, paralegals, witnesses and clients. The Applicant must be able to work under the direction and the supervision of trial lawyers. The Applicant must work well with others, accept guidance and instruction, and be able to provide an excellent, professional work product at every level.

Education: Associate Degree required unless candidate has extensive law firm experience. Paralegal experience and/or degree preferred.

Job offer is contingent on candidate passing a background check.
Salary commensurate with experience.
