Job Summary:

• Train facility Business Office Managers and other office personnel with an

emphasis on Corporate Policies and Procedures, Mass Health and other
government and contracting rules and regulations.

• Perform audits for compliance
• Monitor collections to determine if assistance is needed in the field with Medicaid pendings.
• Writes audit plans and reports
• Creates training programs
• Fill in for Business Office Manager open slots
• Trouble shoot and assist in correct problem areas as assigned
• Arrange and attend meetings with local Mass Health, Veterans’ Administration, Medicaid and facility personnel if required.

Bachelor of Science degree in business ore related field or previous experience as a Business Office Manager. Must have experience with third party billing for long-term care. Familiarity with the rules and regulations of the Centers for Health Information & Analysis, Mass Health, Division of Medical Assistance, Veterans’ Administration, Executive Office of Health & Human Services, Senior Whole Health and other HMO contracts is required.
