We are an extremely fast growing natural dog treat company. The company is searching for 1-2 Sales candidates with 5+ years of pet industry experience.

Regional Sales Representative - candidates should have a minimum of 5 years of experience within the Pet industry. They must also have strong relationships with chain/major accounts, in all major US markets preferred. Preferred to have solid relationships and a deep understanding of distribution channels within Pet Specialty as well.

Job Description:

• Serves customers by selling products and meeting customer needs.
• Services existing accounts, obtains orders, and establishes new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales outlets and other trade factors.
• Adjusts content of sales presentations by studying the type of sales outlet or trade factor.
• Focuses sales efforts by studying existing and potential volume of dealers.
• Submits orders by referring to price lists and product literature.
• Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses.
• Establishes sales objectives by creating a sales plan and quota for districts in support of national objectives.
• Maintains and expands customer base by counseling district sales representatives; building and maintaining rapport with key customers; identifying new customer opportunities.
• Recommends product lines by identifying new product opportunities, and/or product, packaging, and service changes; surveying consumer needs and trends; tracking competitors.
• Accomplishes sales and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
