I am a solo psychotherapist with a full caseload and would like to hire 1-2 fully licensed therapists to join my practice. Referrals will take time so this will be a supplement to your current income.

• fee-for-service compensation - 45-minute sessions
• Marketing
• Billing and scheduling services
• Administrative support

Your responsibilities:

• Provide individual therapy to high functioning adult clientele
• Assess and provide DSM-5 diagnosis for out-of-network insurance purposes
• Demonstrate a high retention rate over time
• Provide content for marketing efforts: photos, videos, written description about you and how you work to be used for marketing purposes
• Potential participation in group supervision as the practice grows

Requirements for this position:

• Fully licensed as a LCSW, LPC, LMFT, PsyD, PhD in NY, NJ, or DC - You will not be contacted if you are not fully licensed
• Ability to work with clients empathically and psychodynamically to develop and nurture their interest and capacity to understand their inner experience, feelings, thoughts, behaviors, desires, conflicts, etc.
• Strong client engagement and retention skills
• You must have your own professional liability insurance policy and maintain your own license (CEUs, renewals, etc)
• Asking for a 2-year minimum commitment

****This is not an established group practice. Caseload build-up does take time so you will need a stable full-time income outside of this for the time being.

Required license:

• LCSW, LPC, LMFT, PsyD, PhD (please do not apply if you are provisionally licensed)

Pluses:

• Bilingual candidates a PLUS
• Current or completed post-graduate training OR extensive supervision in psychodynamic or psychoanalytic therapy
• Candidates with post-graduate training in other modalities (in addition to meeting the above post-graduate training requirement) are welcome to apply – EMDR, Somatic therapy, etc.
