Jake n Joes Sports Grille, (www.JakenJoes.com) an established high-end sports bar & grille in Waltham is looking to hire hospitality motivated staff. With more than 40HD TV’s, an amazing sound system, fantastic menu and a caring & dedicated staff Jake n Joes has become the place to watch a game, hang out & party on the weekends or just come in and relax with friends and family.

We are looking to hire experienced Restaurant Servers. You’ll be the face of our restaurant and responsible for our customers’ experiences. Food server responsibilities include ensuring our tables are clean and tidy when guests arrive, taking orders and serving food and beverages. You need to be quick on your feet (literally and metaphorically) and have a polite and friendly attitude. If you enjoy talking to people and thrive in a fast-paced workplace, we’d like to meet you. Your ultimate goal will be to provide high-quality service that will help us maintain and attract customers.

Responsibilities

• Weekend schedule availability required. (And its when you can make a lot of $$$!)
• Prepare restaurant tables with special attention to sanitation and order
• Take and serve orders

• Answer questions or make recommendations on drinks and food
• Collaborate with other restaurant servers and kitchen/bar staff
• Issue bills and accept payment

Skills

• Proven restaurant serving or waitering experience in a full-service restaurant and or bar.
• Knowledge of Beer, Wine & Cocktails
• Attention to cleanliness and safety

• Patience and customer-oriented approach
• Excellent people skills with a friendly attitude
• Responsible and trustworthy
• TIPS Certification is a plus.

Pay: Up to $45.00 per hour
