Lendio’s Business Development Representatives (BDRs) are responsible for generating and qualifying new sales opportunities for our Axis SaaS product. Axis is revolutionizing the way lenders automate SMB lending through the use of digital applications, 3rd party data, bank data, and document import/ processing through the use of digitally-native AI-based SaaS.

The successful candidate will be responsible for generating and qualifying new sales leads then seamlessly transitioning those leads to Sales Executives for further pursuit and closure. Lendio is investing heavily in demand generation, product marketing and most importantly Axis itself in order to realize this exciting opportunity.

Day to Day:

  • Establish a cohesive market/ territory attack plan based on Lendio’s value proposition and market positioning
  • Build and maintain a thorough understanding of the target market’s business objectives, constraints and stakeholders
  • Perform outbound sales and business development activities
  • Receive and explore marketing leads in order to quality them into sales leads
  • Seamlessly transition leads over to Sales Executives
  • Support, as-needed, Sales Executives in further pursuit and closure of opportunities
  • Maintain accurate opportunity status and sales forecasting data through the use of CRM systems
  • Work collaboratively with key stakeholders in demand generation, product marketing, pre-sales and product management to establish clear value stories, market differentiators and targeted, lead generation
  • Other duties as assigned.

Nice to have’s:

  • Lending software sales experience

Must have’s:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years’ experience in sales and/or account management
  • 1+ years’ experience in working in Fintech / BankTech
  • Experience using CRM technology for relationship management, pipeline tracking and reporting
  • Demonstrated product and industry knowledge
  • Ability to work collaboratively with key internal stakeholders
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Willingness to travel as needed
