Overview: Premier International Inc is giving you an opportunity to grow in a collaborative environment. We have been in the floor covering and window covering business for the past 28 years serving Guam and the neighboring islands. You will excel in this position if you are hardworking, have adequate estimating and supervisory experience in the floor covering and window covering industry or in a related field.

Responsibilities:

• Perform onsite estimates for carpets, blinds, typhoon shutters etc
• Read plans and blueprints and understand what materials go in which room.
• Read plans to determine quantities of materials required.
• Prepare Take offs based on the architectural drawings and onsite estimates.
• Create carpet seaming diagram, window drawings for blinds and shutters
• Add up quantities of materials.
• Prepare a price proposal based on the assessment
• Submit proposals to the customers and follow up in a timely manner.
• Properly secure plans and reports for future reference.
• Present oneself as a knowledgeable professional to the internal and external customer.
• Perform project supervision, quality control timely report for small and large projects
• Confirm the measurements done by the sales executives and make sure there is no error.

Qualifications
· Individuals with a civil engineering degree is highly recommended.
· Excellent communication skills and customer service skills are required.
· Must be efficient in reading floor plans, doing take-offs and project management.

Requirements:

• Experience in the floor, window covering, and typhoon shutter sales or similar fields.
• Close and Distant vision and ability to distinguish colors
• Knowledge of the products in the floor covering
• Ability to act in a professional demeanor with customers and employees
• Basic skills of mathematics, fractions, measurement, and skills to use a ruler and tape measure
• Ability to communicate effectively- both written and oral
• Must have computer skills, Microsoft Word, Excel, etc
• Ability to read and comprehend written reports
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Overall accuracy is very important in this field of work
• Must be flexible to work after hours and weekends if required.

Schedule
· Full-Time Salary position or Hourly. Annual Salary $ 25,500 to 45,000 based on qualifications and experience
Option to go on a commission or basic salary plus commission after 90 days of employment as per employee preference
· Must be willing to work from Monday to Saturday 8 am to 5 pm. If the need arises, must be willing to work on weekends and after-hours
Benefits:
· Two weeks of paid vacation after the completion of one year of service. ( need to be pre-approved by the GM)
