Job Description

Grand Appliance & TV is seeking a FULL-TIME receptionist for our Fitchburg Store. This person will be the first contact for our store customers. The successful candidate will be professional, outgoing, and customer-centered.

Responsibilities:

• Welcome customers and visitors and direct them to the appropriate person.
• General office duties include answering phone, receiving faxes; recording and delivering messages; date-stamping documents; all mail processing (inbound and outbound), and maintaining the postage meter.
• Maintaining the reception/sales area in a neat and clean manner.
• Maintain the office supply inventory including placing orders; arranging for equipment repairs and servicing equipment.
• Supports sales operations by maintaining files and forms; obtaining and forwarding information.
• Preparing correspondence to potential customers, including transcribing, formatting, inputting, editing, retrieving, copying, and transmitting text.
• Support sales operations by completing special sales projects.
• Other duties and tasks as assigned.
• General customer service task as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Associates degree or higher preferred. High school diploma with experience will be acceptable in lieu of a degree.
• 1-2 years reception experience. Retail sales experience a plus.
• Excellent people skills, both in person and on the phone.
• Must be able to communicate clearly both via written and verbal communications
• Able to multi-task in a retail environment.
• Experience using Microsoft Office products.

Compensation:

$15.00 to $20.00 per hour
