Amphenol Custom Cable is looking for an energetic Sales and Customer Service minded individual to work in the Inside Sales department. This person will be responsible for updating spreadsheets, data entry, Communicating with clients and have a go-getter mindset. There is opportunity for advancement within the Sales department with this role.

SUMMARY

The primary responsibilities of the ISR is to receive, interact, process, and provide timely information for all customer inquiries for products and services on behalf of the company. The ISR is expected to identify and ascertain required customer information, resolve all customer issues/concerns/questions, as well as the management of customer orders from initial request for pricing thru product delivery.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

· Receiving, analyzing, and processing customer requests for products and services.

· Provide information or ascertain assistance to ensure timely handling of customer requests.

· Analyze requests for quote for completeness and specific terms required.

· Complete proposed pricing estimates and generate proposals for customer review.

· Address customer concerns by following up on proposals thru final purchase.

· Process customer orders by finalizing terms with a signed purchase order.

· Complete material quantity take-offs to produce bill of material for purchase.

· Monitor status of orders thru production cycle to ensure timely delivery of product.

· Increase customers level of business with company by offering additional products and increasing customer penetration/coverage.

· Develop customer loyalty by providing the highest level of service.

· Develop customer contacts into referral sources.

The Inside Sales Representative (ISR) works to provide direct support to the Outside Sales Managers in the ongoing development of existing and prospective Custom Cable customers. The ISR’s are expected to develop quotations in cooperation with the OSM based on identified sales strategy and information collected from customers assigned. The position has a very high degree of customer interaction; therefore, the position requires a pleasant, always pleasing personality.

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
