Job Description

What you will do:

ConnectiveRx Software Engineering team builds state of the art Hub solutions that empower biopharmaceutical manufacturers to help commercialize and maximize the benefits of branded and specialty medications. We leverage our industry-leading, tech-enabled services to accelerate speed to therapy throughout the medication journey. Our unparalleled patient and provider network and advanced analytics power our ability to improve medication adherence and access.

The Manager of Software Development plays a critical tactical and strategic role at ConnectiveRx by leading our team of software engineers to deliver products that make up our technology solution used by our customers. The role will lead multiple agile based software teams throughout our software stack covering platform, product, and client specific areas.

This individual will collaborate with various departments and lead their team throughout the agile design, documenting, Kanban/scrum development and testing of new and existing software. Be responsible for evaluating individuals and teams to determine if organizational objectives are being met through the retrospective process. The manager of software development will oversee HR responsibilities that include individual goals, salaries, bonuses, and people management.

  • Work closely with senior leadership and extended Product teams to understand, define, and prioritize desired product and technical roadmap initiatives and develop plans to deliver key project initiatives.
  • Collaborate with architects and other product and development resources to design and implement scalable, integrated, enterprise solutions.
  • Work in highly collaborative teams using agile based software development methodologies (Scrum and Kanban).
  • Work with management, other senior engineers, software architects and quality assurance engineers to resolve development roadblocks.
  • Deliver project assignments on time and with high quality.
  • Encourage innovation, implementation of cutting-edge technologies, best practices, inclusion, outside-of-the-box thinking, teamwork, self-organization, and diversity
  • Mentor, coach, motivate team to consistently deliver high quality software
  • Maintain team metrics for measurement of engineering and operational excellence and a consistent, regular process for assessment and improvement
  • Participate in project resourcing, staffing, and hiring decisions
  • Define professional development goals and conduct performance reviews
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure that developers follow the desired architectural patterns and adhere to standard software development methodologies.
  • Participate in creating estimates for internal and customer facing projects.
  • Troubleshoot critical production and performance issues as needed.
  • Support production release management activities as needed.
  • Communication of architecture and design

What we’d like from you:

Required Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science equivalent years of relevant work experience
  • Six or more years of experience in software development role
  • One or more years of experience as a technical lead or managing software development teams in an agile environment
  • Proficiency in C#, REST/JSON, HTML5, SCSS, Angular/React, AWS, SQL, and NoSQL databases

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Salesforce Service Cloud, Salesforce Experience Cloud, .NET/C#, SQL, AWS
  • Strong troubleshooting skills, with ability to work in high performance team environment, handle multiple tasks and react quickly to problems and issues
  • BS or MS in Computer Science
  • 5-7 years medium size team technical leadership
  • 2-3 years developing or integrating with Salesforce applications
  • Strong understanding of Agile and other SDLC methodologies
  • 10-15 years’ experience in .NET/C#, SaaS platform development, SQLServer and related technologies
  • Strong communication, organization and presentation skills implementation, and support

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $140,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
