Scout Truck Drivers - Non-CDL Driver(s)

Primary Responsibilities:

• Works in accordance with Company safety policies and procedures, OSHA requirements, as well as local, state & federal laws
• Immediately reports all unsafe situations or service related issues to supervisor
• Immediately report any and all accidents and injuries to supervisor
• Qualified to operate appropriate vehicle
• Deliver, switch out and takeaway dumpsters for servicing
• Works with Front-end Loader trucks in tight and congested areas safely
• Works directly with Supervisors and Dispatchers
• Operate vehicle in safe and professional manner
• Ensure compliance with local, state and federal laws as pertains to the company drivers, trucks and equipment
• Responsible for safely completing daily routes and assignments
• Maintain a professional attitude when interacting with customers and fellow employees
• Immediately report any and all accidents and injuries
• Perform daily Pre-trip & Post-trip Inspection on assigned vehicle
• Complete assigned route in a timely manner
• Fuels all fleet diesel trucks by the end of the work day
• Ensure assigned truck is clean and in working order
• Attends and participates in all scheduled training programs, briefings and meetings as required by Company or directed by supervisor
• Must have a current driver’s license and clear drivers abstract
• Ensure compliance of company Zero Tolerance Drug Policy
• Other duties as assigned

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to push and pull up to 90 lbs
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs individually and up to 80 lbs with assistance
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to climb 2 flights of stairs
• Ability to use hand/fingers to operate, activate and manipulate joy sticks and toggle switches
• Ability to sit up to for up to 8 hours
