SecuritySmart Solutions (S3) is hiring, full/part time, Armed and Unarmed Security Officers for immediate Nashville area positions. Must be reliable and have reliable transportation and phone contact. Must be able to work days, nights, weekends and holidays.

We are looking for professional, courteous, and driven individuals that meet the following requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older
• Must be a U.S. Citizen or foreign citizen authorized to legally work in the United States
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• Current TN unarmed guard license, preferred not required.
• Possess a valid driver’s license

Skills Required:

• Ability to operate radios, smartphones, and computer, preferred not required.
• Be of good morals and integrity

Responsibilities and Duties:

As Security Officer, you will:

• Be responsible for the safety and security of the entire property and everyone in it.
• Conduct entry checkpoint by verifying IDs and log in visitors
• Seek out and respond to security problems, issues, concerns, and emergency situations to protect the assets and ensure the safety and security of guests and associates
• Patrol property areas, including parking lots, noting unusual circumstances or security concerns and taking appropriate action.
• Complete various security reports and forms for investigation, action and liability abatement, documenting loss or personal injury of guests or associates.

Qualifications and Skills

• Previous Security experience preferred, not required
• High school degree or GED equivalent required
• Less lethal (OC, Taser, Baton) preferred, not required
