Security Specialist (Part time)
Security Specialist foot patrol, mobile patrol, other as needed

We are excited to offer employment with Assured Protection. Candidates for the position listed below will be representing the client and Assured Protection. Please read and understand the basic requirements necessary to apply and be successful at this position.

Requirements for application:

Must be fully Vaccinated

Must have reliable transportation

Must work at least 16 hours a week minimum

Open availability to work weekends

• must be 18 years of age or older
• must be able to read and write the English language
• must be able to walk or stand for extended periods of time
• must have a valid Maryland Driver's License with no more than 2 points
• must be able to wear a uniform to include button down shirts, ties, blazers and belts
• must be physically capable of lifting up to 35 lbs
• must have a friendly disposition and able to speak with people
• must be a punctual and responsible person who shows up and works well with others
• must have a high school diploma or equivalent
• must have proper hygiene and a professional appearance
• no face, neck, or hand tattoos
• must work a minimum of 16 hours per week
• must meet minimum call on call responsibilities

Some of the duties of a Security Specialist: (this is not a fill list)

• Must be able to stand for long periods of time
• Must be able to drive and maintain controll of company vehicle when asked
• Provide a presence and safety measure to an exterior or interior of a facility
• Must be a quick learner and want the challenge of providing superb services in any position you are assigned to
• Must be able to adapt to different positions and facilities you may be called to work at
• Must be a vigilant person and intervening when security or life safety issues occur
• Work in ever changing environments
• Escort persons when necessary
• Report issues to proper authorities
• Conduct visual inspections of the property and secure all of the grounds including parking garages.
