The Senior Living Director of Cahaba Trace Senior Living is responsible for the overall functions of BMC’s Continuing Care Retirement Community.

[Essential Responsibilities]

• Plan develop, implement, evaluate and direct the facility program and activities.
• Responsible for marketing and public relations activities necessary to maintain occupancy goals, including the evaluation and admission process for new retirees.
• Ensure resident satisfaction and achievement of realistic plan-of-care goals, including the coordination of all retiree service activities.
• Manage the budget, ensures the financial performance of the facility within or ahead of budget, and the accurate, timely reporting of financial performance to Administration.
• Responsible for the operation and management of BMC’s Continuing Care Retirement Community in accordance with BMC’s policies and procedures, federal, state, and local laws.
• Responsible for hiring, training, and scheduling staff.
• Understands that this role has the potential to assume additional responsibility and oversight as the organizations grows and changes.

[EDUCATION and/or EQUIVALENT EXPERIENCE]

• College degree BA/BS, preferably in Business Administration, or related field.
• Must have a minimum of three years of managerial experience in senior living, health care, or hospitality industries.
• Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Must demonstrate a warm, outgoing, and compassionate personality.
• Must have demonstrated integrity, maturity, and leadership skills.
