Senior Software Engineer
PrismRBS - Remote

At PrismRBS, our products and services support the higher education market through Point-of-Sale, eCommerce and inventory control/enterprise resource planning solutions. We are looking for a highly skilled .NET/C# Senior Software Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate has expert knowledge of solving technical problems, provide technical direction and collaborating amongst a team of engineers.

The software engineering team owns the design and execution of implementing new features and achieving product milestones.

Key qualifications

• Consistent record of delivering high quality enterprise software with numerous years of validated experience using .NET/C#.
• Solid understanding of the full software development lifecycle.
• In-depth knowledge of technologies such as RESTful APIs (JSON, HTTP), modern frontend Javascript frameworks (Vue, React, Angular) and SQL databases.
• Experience in designing and maintaining systems with high performance, scalability and availability.
• Ability to work in a collaborative team environment on fast paced projects.

Preferred skills and qualifications

• 5+ years experience as a technical lead/architect or senior level software engineer.
• BS, MS or Ph.d in Computer Science or equivalent industry experience.
• Cloud hosting experience with Azure, AWS, etc.
• Agile development life cycle experience.
• Experience in retail industry or higher education operations.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
