Title: Senior Accountant (Room for future growth in pay, responsibilities, and title)

Status: Exempt

Reports to: Chief Financial Officer

Salary Range: $70,000 - $85,000/year

Mission: Alyrica Networks is a growing family-owned Internet Service Provider serving the Willamette valley. For this role we are looking for a motivated individual to join our team and grow with the company.

Competencies:

• Demonstrate a strong understanding of GAAP and flows of the balance sheet and P&L accounts
• Pro-actively handling of general ledger
• Experience with month in close and reconciling the full balance sheet
• Experience with payroll processing
• Experience with QuickBooks online
• Intermediate to advanced skillset in Excel
• Clear written and oral communications with internal and external stakeholders
• Friendly, professional manner with all key stakeholders
• Ability to manage an annual financial audit
• Clear written and oral communications with internal and external stakeholders
• Maintain confidentiality in all matters
• Meet all applicable deadlines

Major Responsibilities and Duties:

• Manage all accounting functions and processes
• Track and allocate project costs
• Reconcile all balance sheet accounts, calculate, and post monthly accruals
• Maintain fixed assets
• Maintain personnel and accounting documentation
• Maintain general ledger
• Processes and deposit customer payments
• Prepare Ad hoc reporting
• Support Administrative Tasks of CFO

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
• Professional, courteous manner
• 3 years of accounting experience, preferably as a staff accountant
• Excellent communication skill both verbal and written
• Capable of handling multiple projects, manage priorities, and hit deadlines
• Successfully pass a criminal background check upon acceptance of an offer

Must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time
