• Conducts strategic analysis in support of requests generated by executive management. Researches and analyzes a wide variety of topics to generate insights relevant to the future of the bank, the bank’s customers and the rural marketplace and industries.
• Works closely with management to frame projects, structure analyses, and deliver on project objectives.
• Participates on strategic projects from inception to completion, adjusting analysis to new requests for information and revisions in strategic direction.
• Collaboratively determines best data sources to support each project. Obtains and transforms data into graphs and other visuals for presentation of project findings. Writes narrative to support visuals.
• Manages multiple projects, prioritizing based on urgency and deadlines.

• Two (2) or more years of experience in management consulting or related experience.
• B.S. degree with a focus in finance, economics, strategy, or agribusiness
• Knowledge of quantitative analysis, with the ability to interpret results, build economic and financial spreadsheets/models, and translate them for various audiences.
• Business acumen, critical thinking, problem solving and decision making skills.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, manage projects and deliver on commitments within tight timeframes and competing priorities.
• Proficiency in utilizing publicly available economic and financial databases.Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to exercise influence, work collaboratively and build and maintain effective relationships with all levels of executives, internal team members, customers, and other stakeholders and partners.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (MS Project, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel) and database management tools.

• Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) or MS in a related field.
• Ability to coordinate multiple projects from abstract inquiry to definitive interpretation and recommendation in support of strategic goals and business objectives.
• Knowledge of U.S. and global agribusiness and related markets preferred.
• Knowledge of agricultural and/or rural utility cooperatives preferred.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication, public speaking and presentation skills, with the demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with all levels of staff, management, customers and outside parties.

Compensation Information

• Estimated Base Salary Range: $85,000-$105,000
• Target short-term incentive opportunity: 15%
