Kitchen Ventures is seeking a passionate and talented Senior Shopify Developer to lead our startup ecommerce team. In this role, you'll plan and lead along with founders and current developers through the discovery processes for new a E-commerce build out.

Candidate must be a very seasoned Shopify Developer as this is a fast-paced environment. The opportunity is for a talented driven developer that is looking to grow and achieve in a highly collaborative well-funded small organization.

What you'll do:

• Plan, lead, manage all work with current contract developer team through the discovery processes for our new Shopify build out to launch, maintenance, data development and team growth.
• Lead and build internal team once Shopify main site is launched. Ability to grow and lead is a must.
• Plan, lead and implement spin off sites that feature consumer niche products.
• Incorporate best practices to design effective strategies for featured sites and strategies.
• Collaborate with current developer and founders for implementation recommendations.
• Understanding and well throughout wholly own all technical content (architecture and design), integrity, and quality of the solutions for all aspects of Shopify website
• Deep knowledge and ability to address compliance requirements in collaboration with IT and Legal, including but not limited to Payment Card Industry (PCI), Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Personally Identifiable Information (PII), California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 (CCPA) but not limited to these areas.
• Implement all app development for shipping, payment processing, data anylsis and marketing.
• Plan, lead and implement Amazon, Etsy, Walmart store front development and maintenance.
• Provide technical leadership, direction, and mentorship to other technology team members.

You might be who we're looking for if you have:

• 6-8 years' overall development experience
• 3-5 years' experience in an eCommerce development role internally or with a digital agency
• 2-4 years' experience with Shopify, including a deep understanding of the Shopify Multi-vendor platform as well as the Shopify app ecosystem, Shopify themes, Shopify APIs, and Liquid template language
• 2-4 years’ experience with Amazon, Walmart etc. store front development
• 2-3+ years' experience with:
• Laying out technical documentation both for internal developer team and daily maintenance of sites
• Proven track record of technical leadership roles delivering solutions within defined timeframes.
• Code reviews, continuous integration, and test driven development

• High level knowledge of Git and code workflows in Shopify, as site grows
• Knowledge of Shopify best practices and of industry trends
• Experience with modern JS frameworks is a major plus
• Experience with Headless architecture is a plus
• Incredible positive attitude that can grow with startup is a MUST!

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
