U.S. Salt LLC is located on the shore of Seneca Lake in Watkins Glen, NY and has been in operation since 1893. Currently an industry leader in food grade and pharmaceutical salt production, US Salt also has a strong presence in oil development, textiles and dyes, and water softener products. US Salt is currently seeking highly motivated and dedicated 2nd and 3rd shift Packinging/Shipping Operators.

Responsibilities and Duties include:

* Operation and adjustment of various machinery including, but not limited to, mixer, tub winder, bottom capper, top capper, labeler, packer, disc press and utility operator.

* Operation of various tools including, but not limited to, robots, valve-pak, palletizer, power broom, mini-bagger, button press, USP wrapper, scissor lifts, and bulk loader.

* Utilizes fork trucks to transport product and materials through-out facility.

* Works closely with other departments and may be asked to perform miscellaneous tasks such as, but not limited to, housekeeping and safety initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Must have basic to intermediate math skills.
• Must be willing and flexible enough to work any shift and overtime when business requires.
• Basic to intermediate computer skills.
• Must be able to demonstrate effective communication skills.
• Displays a positive attitude and be an active contributor to the teamwork concept.
