Enovation Controls is looking for a Software Engineer to join our team in the creation of custom solutions for tow sport boats, watercraft, off-road vehicles, motorcycles, and other vehicle, vessel, equipment applications. • The application of our code is exciting, and the output of our custom software solutions are in direct support of the driver, the joyrider, the wave-jumper, the hill-climber, the lane-splitter, and the mudslinger
• Gaming Interface Developers, Mobile Application Developers, and / or Embedded UI Developers would find this seat fits pretty well
• Our Software Engineers are active participants throughout the process (Ideation, Collaboration, Creation, Iteration, On-Application Experience)

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Designers, Engineers, and other product development team members to plan, create, and deploy custom application software solutions
• Participate in a team of Application and Embedded developers to create software applications that deliver rich user interfaces, system / vehicle specific communication and control, and an engaging end-user experience
• Work with platform engineers to integrate custom hardware and software features
• Work with software test and system engineers to diagnose and maintain quality software solutions
• Develop a thorough knowledge of our in-house bag of tricks (software tools and hardware products)

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering or other related field of study, OR equivalent training and experience
• Minimum 3 years of experience in application and user layer software development
• Experience with strongly typed languages such as C++
• Experience with scripting languages such as Lua and Python
• Must have a high attention to detail and usability
• Exceptional debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to quickly learn new software toolchains, frameworks, and languages

Nice to Have

• Experience developing with embedded UI frameworks (such as Qt, Crank Storyboard) is Preferred
• Experience with C# and .Net framework technologies is a plus
• Experience working with in vehicle infotainment (IVI) and / or connectivity related features is a plus
• Experience working with and interfacing with embedded systems is a plus
• Experience developing for Linux / QNX platforms is a plus
• Experience with engine and vehicle communication protocols (CAN) is a plus
