As a software engineer on our team, you’ll work with subject matter experts, developers, and fellow engineers to overcome our government customer’s most difficult challenges using the latest architectural approaches. You’ll use your passion to learn new tools and techniques, while helping to identify and implement system improvements. Using Agile Software development principles, you’ll guide the development of safe, secure, and effective weapon system architectures for a weapon system. You’ll analyze the needs and the environment to ensure the solution weapon system contractors develop considers current architecture and operating environments and nuclear safety and surety for the weapon system, for current and future functionality and enhancements. You Have:

• Experience with Agile Software Development

• Experience with requirements engineering and verification and validation

• Secret clearance

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering

Nice If You Have:

• Experience with software architecture and Design, UML, and SysML

• Knowledge of software interfaces

• Top Secret clearance

• Master’s degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $58,300.00 to $133,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
