AMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary range for this position is $120,000 - $140,000. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Active TS Clearance (will consider SECRET clearance holders with ability to obtain TS/SCI)
• Current CompTIA Security+ Cert or IAT Level II equivalent (e.g., CCNA-Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, CND, SSCP)
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Science Information Systems, or equivalent
• 3-5 years' experience collecting, cleaning, interpreting, and analyzing various types of data producing reports and visualizations

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

• Proficiency with Oracle Database management (data files and tables) and DB management tools for optimal system performance
• Experience using other database software (SQL, PostgreSQL)
• Data analytics experience and using data mining
• Competence in identifying correlations and patterns using tools such as Oracle BI and Python
• Experience in software development and coding using front-end (HTML, Javascript, NodeJS/React) and back-end (APIs)
• Knowledge of Agile Software development practices (e.g. Scrum/XP)
• Skilled with R-man backup/recovery and Oracle Enterprise manager
• Detail-oriented in identifying errors or inconsistencies in data
