Job Description :
Land Pride, a division of Great Plains Mfg, is seeking experienced Spray Painters or those with Skilled Labor experience - We will train as Top Coat Painters for our liquid paint system at our Abilene West facility.
This position works Monday - Thursday from 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (overtime on Fridays as required).
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Paint parts to required specifications
- Desire to learn top coat painting, demonstrate pride in work
- Use paint gun, hoist, manlift, ladder, air gun and any other tools necessary to perform the job
- Follow all Great Plains and OSHA safety regulations and wear PPE as required
- Other duties may be assigned that require other qualifications, physical demands, and/or work environment. as assigned
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
- Prior experience as a Top Coat Painter is preferred
- Prior Skilled Labor experience is required for Paint Training.
- Must be able to physically perform the job
- Ability to pass the required respirator test to wear a paint respirator
