Job Description :

Synergen Rx is an independent specialty pharmacy based in Doraville, GA. We work closely with health systems and practices to help manage certain patients with specialty drug regimens. Synergen is looking for motivated individuals to make a positive impact and grow rapidly with the company.

Job Title: Pharmacist

Job Qualifications:
Educational Requirements: Doctor of Pharmacy

Licensing Requirements: Pharmacist license in Georgia

Professional Experience: At least 1 year of pharmacy or related customer service/retail experience or

Professional Competencies:

  • Knowledge of specialty pharmacy diseases and medications
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Must have strong communication skills
  • Must have strong critical thinking skills

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Work under the direct supervision of a pharmacy manager
  • Assist prescribers and their agents in referral management
  • Maintain proper storage and security conditions for drugs.
  • Overseeing technician activities and verification for accuracy on all orders such as delivery coordination, refill management, copay assistance, fulfillment, etc.
  • Coordinate shipping and delivery of medication orders.
  • Answer telephones responding to questions, requests, medication orders, etc.
  • Participate in marketing and sales events.
  • Fill and verify prescriptions accurately and efficiently.
  • Troubleshoot various issues with pharmacy system or client concerns.
  • Identifying and resolving insurance-related issues, recognizing situations where financial assistance can be applied\
  • Clinical counseling and interventions including comprehensive pharmacist consultation, drug regimen review, medication reconciliation, medication lists or reminders, medication synchronization, etc.
  • Adhere to policies and procedures based around current and future pharmacy accreditations for our pharmacy

Pay: $50.00 - $65.00 per hour
