Summer 2023 Software Development Intern/Co-Op
JOB LOCATION:
San Jose, CA
WHAT KIND OF ROLE IS THIS:
ONSITE: This is an onsite position – the Intern/Co-op is required to relocate if necessary and work full-time (40 hours) from the San Jose office.
PROGRAM TERM:
  • Summer: Start Date May or June – August or September 2023
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:
For our customers to productively use AMD devices, we heavily rely on advanced Software tools. This intern/co-op is an opportunity to join the Software Team at AMD and work on Vitis Model Composer, one of the most exciting products we have to offer. This tool is based on MATLAB and Simulink and offers a high-level design environment for our users in order to accelerate their pace of development.
You will work on aspects of Vitis Model Composer that will be shipped to our customers. As such you will get a valuable experience in what it takes to build and ship a software feature in a real product.
KEY QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Experience with MATALB and Simulink
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Tendency to think out of the box, be innovative, and deliver results
WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
  • Must be enrolled in an accredited University and working towards completing an Undergraduate or Master's degree
  • Pursing a degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or similar technical field of study or equivalent practical experience

Qualifications:
At AMD, your base pay is one part of your total rewards package. Your base pay will depend on where your skills, qualifications, experience, and location fit into the hiring range for the position.
