System Laboratory Director Responsibilities

• Reports to the Vice President of Ambulatory Services
• 10 Direct Reports and 100 Full-Time and Part-Time Employees
• Over 6 million billable tests

System Laboratory Director Requirements

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology required from an accredited medical technology program, Master’s degree preferred. Medical Laboratory Scientist or Medical Technologist (MLS/MT) American Society of Clinical Pathologists.

Experience: Minimum 10 years Clinical Laboratory experience, five years as manager or director.

Licensure: Licensure by NYS SED as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist required. MT (ASCP) preferred.

Skills: Management, leadership, and motivational skills, general clinical, problem-solving, positive interpersonal skills, communication - verbal and written.

Location Information: Cooperstown, NY

Pay: $111,000.00 - $167,000.00 per year
