Summary: This role is to provide support and maintenance within the organization’s desktop computing and manufacturing environments. Tech Ops Support Associate will be responsible for the daily operation of end user computing and handling service desk tickets. This includes installing, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and upgrading all hardware, software and peripheral equipment while ensuring optimal desktop performance in the office environment and on the production floor. The person will also troubleshoot problem areas in a timely and accurate fashion and provide end user training and assistance where required.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Take ownership in identification, escalation, and resolution of support tickets
Assists with installation and maintenance of desktops, printers and network related hardware
Assist in special projects as assigned by management.
Understands issues involved with administering and maintaining corporate infrastructure, including network connectivity.
Setup install, configure user computers for new users and ensure delivery of equipment In a timely manner
Interacts with internal clients to resolve computing issues and manage tickets through helpdesk system
Collaborates with other IT subject matter experts to drive solutions and best practices
Assist in preparing, maintaining, and upholding procedures for logging, reporting, and statistically monitoring PC performance
Receive and respond to incoming calls and/or e-mails regarding technology problems

Education/Experience:
Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; 1-3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must be able to interface well with all employees of the Company and to represent the Company in a highly professional manner. Must have high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations. Must be multi-task oriented.
Language Ability:
Ability to understand written and verbal instructions. Ability to effectively read, speak and communicate in English and ability to effectively present information verbally one-on-one and in group situations to customers, vendors and other employees. Ability to analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
Math Ability:
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to interact and draw valid conclusions. Ability to react, respond and solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of various computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, databases, presentation and/or ERP software as well as the ability to type and perform 10 key by touch if germane to your position.
Certificates and Licenses:
Microsoft A+ or equivalent preferred. Intermediate understanding of networks and TCP/IP.
