D. C. Powell and Associates, Inc., is a medical staffing Agency that provides critical care professionals to hospitals throughout the states of Virginia, and Maryland. We are seeking to hire a Nurse recruiter who possess a front-end to back-end skillset as it pertains to recruiting Registered nurses for contracts in our hospitals.

Our work is exciting, fast paced, and very rewarding. The hours are 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Friday. The successful candidate should have a minimum of 2 years of experience with sourcing specialties to include: M/S – Medical/Surgical Nurse, M/S Medical/Surgical Telemetry Nurse, Tele – Telemetry Nurse, PCU - Progressive Care Unit Nurse/IMCU - Intermediate Care Unit Nurse/SDU - Step Down Unit Nurse, ICU - Intensive Care Unit Nurse, L&D – Labor & Delivery Nurse, OR – Operating Room Nurse, Emergency Room Nurse/ED – Emergency Department, PACU – Post Anesthesia Care Unit Nurse, Psych – Psychiatric Nurse/Behavioral Health Nurse

Duties Include:

· Review resumes and verify candidates academic background, work history, and references to distinguish and target ideal applicants for travel assignments.

· Develop strong, long-standing relationships with Nurses and healthcare facilities.

· Responsible for interviewing and submitting qualified Registered Nurses to positions at healthcare facilities which best match their skill set.

· Outstanding ability of organization and management

· Hired to source and recruit nurses for the travel and permanent assignments.

· Sourced through company database, Monster, Career Builder, Indeed.com, and LinkedIn. Followed up leads, referrals from candidates, office calls and emails.

· Created submission packet for each candidate, which consisted of cover letter, resume, skills tests that were specifically geared for each nursing discipline, references and any letters of recommendation.

· Prepared the cost and salary expectations for each candidate based on the bill rate from each client.

Education/Experience

• · Must possess an associates degree or higher, and or a combination of experience in providing this level of support.Must have two years’ experience.
• Must be versed on MS Office suites Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.Requirements:
• Must be a team player as we are a tight knit, hard working group.
• Must possess knowledge of RN credentials, and certifications to work on critical care units in Hospitals or acute care facilities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour
