Phillips Pet Food & Supplies is now hiring Class A Vacation Relief Driver

Shift is Monday-Friday
Routes start at 7:00am or earlier - mostly 10 hour days
This position would be a vacation relief driver, however you are guaranteed 40 hours weekly
Must be available for at least 1 overnight a week, depending on route.
Pay: $28.00-$30.00/hour

Your Responsibilities:

• Both stage and remove trailers in to and out of bay doors as needed.
• Transport tractors, trailers, straight trucks and any and/or all other equipment back to and from equipment vendors and repair shops.
• Pickup vendor supplied product from various vendors
• Make volume size deliveries to customer only on an as needed basis.
• Ensure that workload that is tendered to you is completed in a timely and efficient manner.
• Prepare all required assigned documentation, including daily logs and reports, in accordance with Phillips Feed policies
• Maintain and protect all company property entrusted to driver
• Participates in a safety culture that includes no recordable accidents and no loss time injuries. Always make the safe choice. Ensures proper PPE is used at all times. Watches out for co-workers and warn them when there are any safety issues or hazards. Participates actively in all safety programs and activities.
• Maintain all certifications required by DOT, FMCSA, OSHA and company safety programs

What you’ll need:

• CDL Class A License with minimum of one year driving experience
• Must have an excellent driving record
• Solid understanding and compliance with DOT regulations and requirements.
• Ability to work flexible hours
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
