SunPlus Data Group is looking for a Mid Level Server Administrator/Engineer to work for a State Government facility in Trenton, NJ

• This is for 12 months with extension possible

**THIS POSITION IS HYBRID, required to work onsite in Trenton, NJ 2-3 days per week or as required **

SCOPE OF THE PROJECT:

Under limited supervision, this position is for a Mid-Level Server Administrator/Engineer supporting both a physical and virtual server (VMware and Hyper-V) infrastructure in a multi operating system environment, mainly Windows and Redhat Enterprise Linux OS. The candidate must possess a working knowledge of Networking Fundamentals, OSI Model, TCP/IP concepts and behaviors.

Hands on experience with administering Windows Servers is essential to the position. Experience in administering Active Directory, Group Policies, Domain Controllers, DHCP Servers, File Share Servers, Network Printing, files share administration, Web, application, and Database administration experience preferred.

Essential Linux based administration experience, Linux System Administration, Apache, Shell Scripting, Java based application Servers. Experience with VMware Vcenter ESXi host administration, VMware Cloud Foundation, VMRealize Operations Suite, NSX-T (SDN) and the VMware HCX, Hybrid Cloud Migration tools. Experience in Capacity Planning, Server/Workload Analysis and Server Provisioning is also preferred.
