Full or Part-Time Positions Available

Primary Purpose & Scope of Position

In this position, you will be working as part of a 2-person team delivering furniture to customer homes, loading and unloading merchandise trucks, transferring new merchandise to the showroom floor, and performing various other warehouse duties related to inventory and building and grounds maintenance.

Essential Functions and Outcomes

• Be able to read delivery tickets and match product numbers with merchandise
• Be able to communicate well with customers and leave a good impression
• Have a strong work ethic and be self-motivating
• Unload, inspect, identify, and tag all incoming merchandise into the warehouse in a manner that insures it is in good condition, tagged correctly and received into the proper locations
• Properly handle all merchandise in a safe manner to avoid personnel injury or damage to the merchandise or equipment during the receiving, staging, shipping and inventory processes
• Move and condense existing merchandise within the locations to insure that the available space is being used as efficiently and effectively as possible
• Experience preferred but will train.
• Able to frequently lift and move 50-100 lbs.
• Occasionally lift and move up to 300 lbs. with assistance from another employee or with a two-wheeled dolly
• Ability to pass background check and drug testing
• Valid Driver's License

Although not required, preference will given to those who have experience in the following areas:

• Furniture or other merchandise Delivery
• Driving Commercial trucks
• Inventory and Warehouse labor experience

Starting Pay

$14-$18 / hour, based on performance and experience. Drivers also occasionally receive tips from customers, which can result in an additional $1 - $5 or more per hour in pay.

• Bi weekly or Twice monthly
