Tri State Nursing Occupational Health and Therapy Services Administrative Assistant Position

- Intake new referrals and obtain authorization from insurance companies.

- Obtain authorization on current patients when authorization runs out or a new script comes in.

- Assist with scheduling current patients according to MD script and authorization.

- Entering new patients online and scheduling new patients for initial visit.

- Complete quality checks on patient charts to ensure communication is being completed

- Manage patient caseload by ensuring patients are being seen in timely manner, have authorization, have a return to MD date, are not having a lapse in therapy, and are being discharged within 30 days of last visit. Also ensuring notes are being completed for referrals sources in timely manner.

- Uploading documents into patient charts.

- Faxing Evaluations, progress notes, cancel/no show notes, discharge notes to all parties needed in a timely manner

- Manage intake forms and provide patients/candidates with correct paperwork during intake

- Provide excellent customer service and have strong communication with referral sources.

- Assist with other duties assigned in alignment with the Occupational Health Dept.

- Must be bilingual in Spanish

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $19.00 per hour
