Overview:

This position REQUIRES possession of a state Guard Card and Firearm Permit (must be current)

Applicants need to have Guard Card and Firearm Permit at the time of application to be considered

Overview of Duties and Physical Requirements

• Provide security services at an federal EPA site
• Conduct foot and/or vehicle patrols
• Utilization of tour tracking software in the performance of daily duties
• Collaboration with local law enforcement agencies when necessary
• Continuous physical effort that requires prolonged periods of walking, standing
• Occasional lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds
• Other duties as assigned

Education and Certification Requirements

• Possession of a high school diploma or equivalent
• Possession of state Guard Card certification
• Possession of a valid Driver’s License

Other

• Hiring immediately
• Preferred 1 year experience working in the federal field
• Must be at least 21 years of age and able to provide documentation showing authorization to work in the U.S.
• Employment is conditioned on successful completion of background check

If prior military, must provide DD214 discharge document with discharge status upon job offer.

Bonus is paid as follows: $600.00 at 90 days post employment*
