Description:

The Care Support Associate will work both independently and collaboratively within the WorldClinic Care Team to respond to member inquiries and to assist the WorldClinic physicians.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Responding to member inquiries and requests
• Transcribing dictations
• New patient enrollments
• Requesting medical records
• Research and coordination of specialist referrals and other patient appointments
• Destination medical planning
• Assembling customer’s medical kits
• Picking up orders from local vendors as needed
• Assisting with special projects
• Assisting with in organizing office activities
• Answering phones, taking messages, and transferring calls to appropriate staff
• Ensures all interactions with clients are properly documented
• Complies with all state and federal regulations and organization confidentiality policies to include HPAA regulations to protect patient health information
• Maintains a consistent and positive customer service image when interacting with colleagues and clients
• Performs other duties as requested by the Director of Care Support

Qualifications:

• Associates Degree preferred; High School diploma or GED required
• 3 years of experience in an office setting or similar work experience
• Reliable transportation
• Must pass a background check

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
