Poly-Tex, Inc ., a leading manufacturer and distributor has an immediate opening for an experienced and motivated Customer Service Representative. We are looking for someone with strong attention to detail and a desire to provide our dealers and end-users amazing customer service and technical support for our home & patio products and hobby greenhouse lines. Job Responsibilities:

• Provides superior, friendly customer service to our dealers, distributors and end-users.
• Process a high volume of calls and e-mails from customers. Seasonally this can be as high as 60-80/day.
• Enter orders that are received by phone, e-mail and EDI system.
• Acknowledges orders as necessary per account. Verifies pricing, discounts, billing and shipping addresses, credit status, and informs customers of any problems. Notifies customers of product back orders and anticipated availability.
• Processes customer parts orders. Will be required to assess, monitor and track missing part orders per guidelines. Processes related customer paperwork and credits.
• Resolves questions, requests, and problems/conflicts promptly and courteously.
• Keeps customers informed of Company policies, procedures, and order status of their accounts.
• Ability to analyze requests and suggest solutions.
• Works with our accounting department to correct invoicing problems or questions on accounts.
• Other duties, such as providing support for the sales and marketing department and other special projects as requested.
• Problem solving to assist customers in making sound decisions and achieve customer satisfaction.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of college and/or 2+ years of similar customer service experience.
• Ability to be persuasive with customers, keeping customer satisfaction as a guiding factor.
• Ability to plan, organize and manage multiple tasks.
• Positive attitude, self-motivated, confident and ability to learn new skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, plus the ability to communicate with a wide range of people.
• Excellent technical skills using the Microsoft suite (Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams)
• Strong typing abilities.
• Basic construction knowledge/experience required to build our product and the technical terminology that is used will be extremely helpful.
• Previous experience with Sage 100 or comparable ERP system is preferred but not required.
• Previous experience with a CRM customer ticketing system is preferred but not required.
