What’s required:

• BSEE or BSCE 4 year degree from an accredited U.S. college/university

• Good oral and written English communications skills

• Five or more years of industry experience

• Fluent in C code, preferably for embedded applications

• Hardware circuit design a plus

• Be able to travel ~1 week every 2-3 months

• Experience with PCB layout a plus

• Automotive knowledge a plus

We are a high tech, fast paced electronics company located in Auburn, CA, north of Sacramento, CA. We offer a robust benefits package (401k matching, profit sharing, health insurance, etc). As a mid size company (~60 employees), you will get to wear many hats in addition to product design: creating new product spec’s, manufacturing test plans, write/review installation instructions, training marketing, sales, and tech support staff. Manage field upgrades and be able to interface with VIP customers. However, 80-90% of your time will be spent doing pure creative Engineering functions, much of it writing C code.

We want engineers who can take ownership of their products and manage them from inception through production and beyond.
