This position will be a “hands-on” position to do all necessary steps from actual billing, supervising billing staff, and the recommendation for processes, procedures and system upgrades to ensure efficiency in the department.

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent; a bachelors’ degree in Accounting, Business Administration or related field preferred; additional work experience can be substituted for the degree
• Must have at least seven (7) years of experience in a health care billing and collections management in healthcare.
• Must have a minimum five (5) years’ experience in a supervisory capacity • Must have experience in multi-site environments.
• Must demonstrate the ability to deal tactfully with patients, family members, referral sources and payers • Must demonstrate autonomy, organization, assertiveness, flexibility and cooperation in performing job responsibilities
• Must demonstrate expertise in healthcare billing (Medicare, Medicaid or third-party payers) through previous experience and related responsibilities

Salary: $75,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
