United Aluminum’s modern and clean facility is conveniently located off I-91 or the Merritt Parkway in North Haven, CT.

We have an exceptional opportunity for an Inside Sales Representative to join our professional and respected Customer Service team. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years prior inside sales experience in either an industrial manufacturing setting or in the metals industry. This person would also have excellent communication skills, inviting personality, and a positive attitude.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The Inside Sales Representative provides service to our customers with respect to their inquiries and their orders:

• Interfaces daily with the Outside Sales team
• Communicates with customers primarily via phone and email
• Manages transactions and relationships with assigned customer accounts
• Accurately processes customer transactions such as quotes, purchase orders, change orders, returns, etc.
• Coordinates communications as may be necessary with our production and technical departments to satisfy customer needs.

REQUIREMENTS

• Strong communication skills, verbal and written
• Eager to provide professional assistance to our customers
• A positive attitude and enjoys selling
• Likes being part of a team
• 2+ years’ inside sales experience preferred
• Experience in manufacturing environment a plus

SKILLS:

• Strong computer skills, proficient with Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Well organized with attention to detail
