Work with the Life Science team on inside sales for detergents and chemicals. Support the Life Science customer service and technical operations team on their quality process regarding incoming and outgoing equipment. The position will reside in the Lake Mary, FL office.

The candidate we seek will be responsible for:

• Work with the team to conduct inside sales by developing sales strategies and call scripts to contact existing Life Science customers to sell detergents and washer chemistries.
• The position will track the outcome of the sales calls along with the resulting sales of detergents.
• Learn the basics of Life Science washing, the mechanical operations of washers and sterilizers
• Support customer service and the technical support team.
• Work with the team to conduct inspections on incoming equipment, parts shipments, and outgoing equipment shipped to customers.
• Complete reporting and track trends on the incoming and outgoing equipment.
• Present recommendations that address enhancements for quality inspections and other related initiatives.

The ideal candidate must have:

• Currently a junior or senior student attending a 4-year undergraduate program, or working towards a Master's degree in a related life science field.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0.
• Excellent written, communication, and organizational skills, with keen attention to details.
• Strong interpersonal and team skills.
• Advanced proficiency: MS Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Teams
• Willingness to learn and good time management skills.

The Getinge Internship & Co-Op Experience Program is a paid, competitive, 10+ week (full-time) program that gives college students interested in the medical technology industry the opportunity to work in a challenging and dynamic culture. Working closely with mentors, the Interns have an inside look at what goes on behind the scenes at a major medical technology company. Students will benefit from on the job training and mentoring. They will have the opportunity to build professional relationships, and enhance their professional, interpersonal, and life skills. As part of the program’s requirements, each student will be expected to attend the organized workshops, and present to leadership, providing an opportunity to share their learning and contributions made in the assigned projects/functional areas. Workshops include the art of networking, budgeting, communication, presentation, and the opportunity to select from an array of LinkedIn training included in our Getlearning library and ASQ programs.
