Ganse Apothecary is hiring for a Long Term Care Pharmacist in Charge, base 30 hours per week but up to 40. Hours are Monday-Friday between 8:00am-5:30pm. Job Description of Long Term Care Pharmacist in Charge:

• Ensure every customer is greeted upon entry
• Ensure every call is answered in a timely manner and appropriately
• Ensure all customers are treated with respect and kindness
• Ensure staff effectively handle customer inquiries and complaints
• Partner with staff to create policy and procedure for inquiries and complaints
• Train on policy and procedures
• Long Term Care Pharmacist in Charge will correct and coach as needed
• Ensure customers receive service in a timely manner
• Prescription workflow oversight
• Comply with regulatory requirements
• Counsel patients
• Complete all MTM opportunities in a timely and professional manner
• Manage prescription inventory and ordering
• Follow Ganse Apothecary dispensing incident policies and procedures

Qualifications of Long Term Care Pharmacist in Charge:

• Degree in Pharmacy/Pharmacology
• Three years' Long Term Care experience
• Thorough understanding of dosage administration, measurement, chemical compounds, medical brands, etc.
• Valid Pharmacist license
