Job Description :
Salary Range: $80,000 - $180,000

In-Depth Engineering seeks Modeling and Simulation Software Engineers to support our U.S Navy program IR&D efforts. The M&S Engineers will support the software development lifecycle (design, code, and test) using RMS software engineering processes and procedures while performing respective software engineering and verification activities.
Work is performed in Syracuse, NY.
Work schedule: 9/80 every other Friday off or 4/10 every Friday off.
Duties:
- Software design and implementation of enhancements
- Develop design artifacts from discussions on expectations & capabilities
- Turn design artifacts into working C/C++ code
- Integration with other system components, and final integration and test support on the target system font issue
- Software design and implementation of enhancements
- Makefile modification
- Implementation of networking communication interface adapters
- Final integration and test support on the target system
- Unit Testing with Google Test & Google Mock
- Some CI/CD administration with GitLab
Qualifications :
- This position requires a government security clearance
- Must be US Citizen for consideration
- Bachelors in CE, CS, or related discipline
- Proficient in C++ and experience with SW design and development
- Ability to locate key system requirements, and flow to M&S product
- Experience with Linux and basic Matlab script execution
- Ability to do full-cycle software development with limited guidance and perform unit testing
- Experience with formal software process desired
