Location: Bakersfield, CA
Shift: Full Time, Monday - Friday, 8AM - 5PM
Start Date: ASAP
Job Details:
- Review pertinent medical history documentation and provide one-time, non-treatment compensation and pension exams for Veterans
- Exams are typically 45 mins to multiple hours
- Practitioners can order applicable ancillaries at the time of the evaluation (X-Rays, labs, EKGs, Echos, ABIs, PFTs, etc).
- Capture responses during the exam through a web-based examination form; all documentation will be completed electronically
- Completed exams are sent to the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs for disability award determinations
- Master's degree or successfully completed a Nurse Practitioner Program
- Must be fully vaccinated and boosted
- Primary care experience is preferred
