We are seeking a talented Office Manager to join our team. This full-time role will be based in Ann Arbor.


How You’ll Make an Impact:

  • Providing a substantial, high-level role in the day-to-day operations of the Ann Arbor office; work in conjunction with Office Managing Principal regarding office operations
  • Providing high-level administrative assistance to office executives and others as necessary and ensuring exceptional client service is provided
  • Proactively identifying problems and process insufficiencies, providing solutions, and initiating appropriate execution
  • Assisting with the coordination and execution of associate engagement events
  • Coordinating and making recommendations for the hiring and termination of administrative associates
  • Working in a supervisory role to coach and evaluate administrative team, engaging with them on their development
  • Facilitating resolution of conflicts between associates
  • Demonstrating and fostering positive interactions with associates at all levels and positions and work within a team environment
  • Ensuring new associates are fully trained in office procedures and practices
  • Ensuring that office appearance is maintained at a high level
  • Providing for the physical needs the office
  • Managing relationships between the office and building service providers; negotiating contracts and ensuring services are provided as required
  • Overseeing maintenance and budget of proper inventory of office supplies and resources
  • Providing liaison between local office associates and corporate departments (IT, HR, Marketing, Operations, Finance)
  • Ensuring that all Rehmann associates are kept aware of Firm news as well as changes in policies and procedures
  • Monitoring billing, collections, payables, timekeeping and expense activities
  • Leading all office administrative functions, including tax processing, report generation and tracking of office metrics
  • Promoting the sharing of office and administrative best practices and standards
  • Facilitating meetings and training programs for office staff
  • Maintaining data integrity and managing databases
  • Overseeing and backing up Marketing Conduit; overseeing marketing and office sponsorship requests
  • Exhibiting unwavering integrity at all times

  • Exceptional human relations skills, with the ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with leadership, associates, and clients
  • Ability to be an effective coach, mentor, and leader for administrative team; addressing performance issues in an effective, timely and tactful manner
  • Experience with work processes and procedures in a professional office environment
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to communicate with senior leadership with confidence
  • Ability to handle communications in a discrete and confidential manner
  • Knowledge of Human Resources, Marketing, IT and Financial processes
  • Ability to foster a collaborative, team environment
  • Efficient in problem resolution
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Ability to quickly learn and master new software programs
